Tori Spelling paid a sweet tribute to her long time BFF Jennie Garth . On Thursday, the actress, 44, posted a throwback photo of herself with Garth and added caption, “Someone who has seen you thru your bad years (teens, boyfriends, and hair) and your good years (marriage, motherhood, and middle age(?)) and still [loves] you… that person is truly your best friend.”
“I love you @jenniegarth,” Spelling continued. “You make me strong, and I make you soft. Best friends complete each other… #nationalbestfriendday.”
Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 and have developed a close friendship towards the end of their hit television show, according to People magazine.
In 2014, Spelling said their friendship developed an even stronger bond with their children growing close.
“Our kids are becoming friends which is really cool… My kids had a sleepover last week at [Jennie’s] house. It was like full circle.”
Back in 2016, Spelling and Garth shared their mutual admiration for one another. Jennie added, “We share stories every day… I love and respect her as a mother and she’s doing a great job.” Tori returned with kind words for Garth, “And I love and respect her.”
Tori Spelling And Tiffani Thiessen End 10-Year Feud
This was not the first time Tori had feuded with her former Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars.
Tori Spelling and Tiffani Thiessen, 43, had been feuding for nearly a decade and refused to speak to one another for 10 years. In 2016, the two decided to place their past judgments and misunderstandings behind them, an insider told Us Weekly .
Spelling previously admitted in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that the two are no longer close. Tori was asked about Thiessen, also known on the 90210 show as Valerie Malone. “She doesn’t talk to me anymore.”
The tension between Tori and Tiffani began in 2006 when Spelling cheated on her then-husband Charlie Shanian with Dean McDermott, 49. Tori delivered the news to Charlie, via their therapist . Thiessen, 42, was super close with Shanian and “took it personally,” a source tells Us Weekly . The insider continues, “She [Tiffani] took Charlie’s side over Tori’s.”
The 90210 moms reconnected at their children’s Los Angeles school. The insider told Us Weekly Tori and Tiffani “hugged at a picnic” and “she and Tori have mutual friends and it’s easier to get along.”
Spelling opened up to Ryan Seacrest in 2010 to discuss previous feuds with 90210 costars, Us Weekly reports.
“All of a sudden I marry Dean, and I don’t know what happened… I lost all my cast members.”
Tori revealed in an interview that she dated both Brian Austin Green and Jason Priestley, according to Wonderwall. On the show, Tori and David’s characters dated on and off throughout the series.
“He would tease me. He teased me a lot. He would always come up to me and say that I had peach fuzz right here… He would come up and pull on my peach fuzz and he would be like, ‘Oh my God, you’re like my little lamb chop… ‘There are all these hot girls, and I’m hoping he likes me.”
Spelling discussed Brian Austin Green , “I was a young girl… Brian and I were the youngest. We were 16, and I remember the first time I shook his hand, I had that… I fancied him.”
Tori and her husband Dean McDermott have been fighting an uphill battle with their finances. According to court documents that were obtained by E! News, a judge has ordered the couple to pay off a $220,000 default judgment .
The ruling came after Tori and Dean missed a subpoenaed court appearance last week regarding their legal battle with City National Bank. The bank is suing them after they allegedly failed to pay off a $400,000 loan from 2010.
The default judgment is presumed to be a financial inconvenience for the Spelling-McDermott household, who just welcomed a fifth child to join their family of six.
