Jinger Duggar has been considered by many fans the Duggar most likely to break free from the family’s strict rules. Though Jinger adheres to the family’s dress code, she has taken a more unique approach to her wardrobe and is considered one of the more “stylish” Duggar women. It appears that Jinger is also steering clear of taking on too many baby duties in the Duggar house. While Jana and Joy Anna are frequently seen tending to the newborns in the family, Jinger is rarely seen charged with caring for the infants in the home. Instead, Jinger spends her time playing the piano and even breaks away to spend some time with Duggar cousin Amy.
The Duggar family has shared numerous videos and photographs of Jinger playing the piano and spending time with her sisters. However, hardly any of the photographs and videos show Jinger partaking in baby duty in the home. Instead, Jinger is typically well-styled at the piano, or sitting in the home with her arms free of any babies. This is contrary to her sisters Jana and Joy Anna, who are almost always photographed tending to young children or holding a baby .
In fact, Jinger is one of the only Duggar daughters that we see doing a variety of hobbies. From archery to photography, Jinger Duggar has a lot of things that she is interested in besides planning a large family or taking care of household chores. Jinger does seem to enjoy playing the piano, a common female Duggar pastime. However, she also appears to really enjoy fashion, archery, and photography, hobbies that are not exactly typical of Duggar women.
Jinger seems to also get some time away from the large Duggar clan by spending time with her more rebellious cousin, Amy King. Amy is known for not adhering to the strict Duggar rules. She did not save her first kiss for marriage, wears bikinis, and isn’t afraid to stir up a little controversy. Therefore, it is telling that Jinger Duggar is spending time with the rebellious cousin. Could cousin Amy help Jinger break free from the Duggar way of life?
The smiling selfie isn’t the only recent photograph of the pair together.
It appears that Jinger Duggar has somewhat of a social life outside of the Duggar compound, as she has also been spotted in numerous photographs with friends.
As Jinger seems to be furthering herself from constant baby duty, Joy Anna Duggar is getting more and more responsibilities placed on her shoulders. Joy Anna almost always has a baby in her hands when she is being photographed. From caring for sister-in-law Anna Duggar’s new baby, Meredith, to comforting a crying Spurgeon Seewald, Joy Anna is seemingly taking over some of Jana’s baby care duties. Jana has been referred to as the “Cinderella Duggar,” due to the fact she is almost always caring for the home or children in some fashion.
With Joy Anna and Jana taking on much of the household responsibility and with the Duggars admitting they have a live-in tutor for the younger children, it seems that Jinger Duggar is either putting her foot down for some freedom or is in the prime spot for simply taking time away.
