Kylie Jenner’s lip kits are finally here. Actually, they’re gone, since they reportedly sold out in less than a minute. You could say that Kim Kardashian’s little sister has finally broken the internet.
Fans have been waiting anxiously for Kylie Jenner to release her own set of lipsticks and lip liners, and that moment is finally here. The 18-year-old took to her social media accounts on Sunday to announce that her lip kit is coming out in less than 24 hours. Jenner also announced it with a new Instagram account dedicated to her very first lip kit, which already has over 400,000 followers.
Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit includes a matte liquid lipstick and a lip liner. It’s also available in three colors: Candy K, Dolce K, and True Brown K. Candy K is more of a light pink, while Dolce K is more of a taupe or beige nude, and True Brown K is a deep brown shade. The kits are $29 a pop, and are only available on lipkitbykylie.com . Kylie even took to her social media accounts to share photos of the collection’s colors and packaging.
Back in September, the famous teen confessed to Galore Magazine that was unsure about releasing the collection because she didn’t think she would sell that many products.
“Well, for my new lip kit, I just put in my order for how many of them I want produced from my manufacturer. I was struggling with the number to ask them to make because I was like, Do I want to make this much? No, because nobody is going to buy it. I didn’t want to order that much. But then my mom was like, ‘Kylie, people are going to want your lip kit.’ I guess sometimes that’s all I need to not get nervous.”
And Kylie Jenner doesn’t have to feel nervous anymore. According to Elle magazine, her very first official lip kits sold out within 30 seconds . But Kylie took to Twitter to say that her lip kits aren’t sold out yet — they were just experiencing a huge amount of traffic on the website. You could say that Kylie has literally broken the internet!
She took to her Instagram account to write: “So the Internet has been broken lol. But everybody stand by. There are so many people on the site right now we are having some tech issues. We are working on it.”
In addition, she wrote on Twitter: “Nobody be upset! There’s so many people trying to buy at once so there are tech issues. Everybody stand by and keep trying! We r working on it.” (SIC)
Can’t get your hands on the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit? Or, maybe you don’t want to wait around due to the technical issues. According to Elle magazine, people are already selling the lip kits on eBay, but you may have to dish out hundreds of dollars for it. If for some reason you can’t get your hands on Kylie Jenner’s lip kits, then you can buy a similar matte lipstick shade from Lime Crime on Amazon, according to the Hollywood Life .
Just last week, Kylie Jenner revealed her entire glam makeup routine , which consists of 13 products and three brushes that she uses.
