Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, stopped by during Wednesday’s PETA’s Stand Up for Animals in L.A., showing off her dramatically slimmed down figure since giving birth a little over a year ago.
The 32-year-old star gave birth to daughter Willow Sage just one year ago, and was able to show off her stunning figure with a slinky black gown, according to Us Magazine . An eyewitness stated of the couple’s outing that:
“They were side-by-side all night and Pink seemed like she was in a great mood. She looked slim and fabulous! Carey was very smiley and looked dotingly at Pink.”
AOL Music notes that the star’s dramatic weight loss has less to do with her recent gallbladder surgery (and bout with the stomach flu, which left her in the hospital), and more to do with a steady gym workout plan.
Pink also says that the idea of a woman’s “pregnant glow” was false, at least for her. She dished that:
“I thought I’d feel like a goddess. They sell you on that s–t . . . like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess. But I kind of enjoyed that too. Hell yeah, I gained 55 pounds. I think my baby might be part cheesecake.”
At the same time though, the singer loves her new bundle of joy. She stated, according to Us Magazine that:
“She is so yummy, I can’t stand it. I want her with me at all times. Even when Carey tries to take her, I’m like, ‘No, no, give her back to me.’”
She added that:
“I promised Carey I wasn’t going to come here and be that mom who just gushes for hours. But she just makes me so happy.”
