Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom may have finalized their divorce earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean Kardashian isn’t concerned about her ex-husband’s well-being.
In a new teaser trailer for Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians , Khloe Kardashian expresses her concerns over estranged husband Odom after she learns that Lamar’s best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, suddenly passed away.
Gossip Cop reports that the KUWTK clip was filmed in June just days after Odom’s longtime friend died due to drug-related causes.
In the clip, Khloe can be speaking with Lamar in regards to Jamie’s death, telling Odom that she’s “so, so sorry” for the sudden loss of his friend.
While Lamar Odom’s part of the conversation isn’t clearly audible in the clip, Kardashian acknowledges that Lamar is highly upset over Jamie’s sudden passing before venting her frustrations over the emotional turmoil that Odom is currently facing.
“One f***ing death after another. I can’t handle it,” Kardashian exclaims after hanging up the phone with Odom.
In a private confessional for the show, Kardashian explains that Lamar and Jamie have been best friends since Odom was “like 12.” Khloe goes on to note that Jamie passed away suddenly, making it more difficult on Odom to accept his friend’s death.

Although it’s clear that Lamar is devastated over the loss of his friend, Khloe goes on to reveal that she’s highly concerned for Odom’s well-being following the loss of Jamie.
“Lamar has suffered so much loss in his life. I’m always going to be there for Lamar, especially when something as tragic as this happens.”
Khloe further explains that she’s on “high alert” for Odom following Jamie’s death, noting that she’s worried Lamar will “spiral” after receiving the difficult news.
While the upcoming episode of KUWTK was filmed prior to Khloe and Lamar signing divorce papers in July 2015, things have not been easy for the former couple in regards to their estranged relationship.
Earlier this year, Odom made headlines after he reportedly “ambushed” Khloe while she was leaving a SoulCycle class in August, just weeks after the duo amicably agreed to sign divorce papers after a lengthy separation, E! Online reports.
A source close to Kardashian explained to the site that Kardashian was taken by surprise in regards to Odom’s ambush, noting that Lamar is not allowing Khloe to move on from their divorce.
“She has been trying to move on but he is not allowing that to happen and it’s all very upsetting. What he did crossed the line.”
The source further explains that Khloe wishes Lamar the best, but she hopes that he will find happiness and move on from their former relationship.
Not long after the ambush made headlines, Lamar spoke to TMZ regarding the incident , insisting that Khloe arranged for them to meet following her workout.
“Did I just guess right where this girl may be? You know I know Khloe, right? You know I know her, right? So how would you think I ended up there?”
Odom continues, “I am not, not the person that they’re trying to make me out to be, whoever’s doing it. I live in Las Vegas. I live in Las Vegas!”
Despite their marriage ending two years ago, Kardashian and Odom’s former romance continues to play out in the family’s reality series. Khloe is making headlines for her new romance with NBA star, James Harden.
Kardashian made headlines in August after she reportedly disturbed her neighbors by shooting off fireworks in the middle of the night in Los Angeles to celebrate Harden’s birthday, prompting a police report to be filed in regards to the disturbance. Since the incident, Kardashian and her family have been cleared of all charges.
