Kate Middleton apparently isn’t a big fan of her new hair style. In fact, there’s speculation that The Duchess Of Cambridge is so displeased with her bouffant that she already regrets it.

Royal sources close to OK! Magazine have insisted that Middleton is so disappointed with the way that the public and critics have responded to her hair that she is already looking forward to it growing out.

“Kate is quite mortified by all the fuss people have been making,” the royal insider declared, via Closer Weekly . “She wanted to freshen up her look, so she got some bangs. But like many women who make that decision, she quickly regretted it! Luckily, she has healthy hair that grows very fast.”

The source went on to add that Kate Middleton actually made the decision to change her hair all by herself, and didn’t consult a stylist before getting it chopped off. This is now something that she regrets immensely.

“She really should have consulted a stylist before her first appearance,” the insider went on to add. “She knows [her new hair] wasn’t well received.”

The 33-year-old mother of two debuted her new hair earlier this month when she made her first public appearance in several months. Middleton has been recuperating over the summer after she gave birth to Prince Charlotte back in May.

Throughout June, July, and August, Kate Middleton only made a handful of public appearances as she stayed at home in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, and became accustomed to being the mother to two, not just one, children. Princess Charlotte’s older brother, Prince George, who is the third in line to the British throne, was born in July, 2013.

However, Kate Middleton returned to public appearances when she was seen in Scotland near Balmoral, where she was celebrating the fact that Queen Elizabeth II had now become the longest reigning monarch in the history of England.

Since then, she has also appeared at the opening ceremony to the Rugby World Cup, where she sat alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, the latter of which gave a speech to mark the start of the tournament. Over the weekend, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton also attended England’s encounter with Wales at Twickenham.

Middleton also visited the Anna Freud Center, which is a child mental health research, training, and treatment charity located in London, United Kingdom, where she toured the area and was provided with updates on the charity’s work.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton also visited the Send Women’s Prison last week, where she learnt about how the Rehabilitation For Addicted Prisoner’s Trust helps prisoners who are addicted to alcohol and drugs overcome these addictions.

The official Twitter account for Kensington Palace also gave a glimpse at what’s in store of The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton over the next few weeks and months, revealing that she’s going to be visiting a number of charities and events that revolve around “early intervention, mental health, and addiction.”

We look forward to rest of The Duchess’s Autumn programme, focusing on early intervention, mental health, and addiction.
