The Fifty Shades Darker rumors are heating up, with reports that fans will see Jamie Dornan’s character in some fully nude scenes.

It just might not be Dornan they’re seeing.

After highly publicized reports that he was offered $1.5 million to appear in full-frontal nudity for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Dornan confirmed that he will not be appearing naked in the movie. But there is speculation that fans will still be able to see his character in the buff, even if it’s not technically Dornan they’re seeing.

Yibada reported the following.

“Just recently, there were reports that Dornan himself will be having full-frontal scenes in ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and fans were looking forward to seeing this. However, it is quite obvious that Dornan will not be having full-frontal scenes because first, ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ cannot contain nudity. Additionally, the film will go through censorship before it is released in theaters.”

There have been other reports about the movie’s casting, including one claiming that Superman’s Henry Cavill would be playing Jake Hyde, the boss of Anastasia Steele. Though Cavill himself went on record denying the rumor, the reports have still persisted and even prompted producers to declare that they are “nowhere near” the casting decision for the part, E! News reported.

While the Fifty Shades Darker casting rumors are still going full steam, fans almost lost one of the pivotal member of the cast. Actress Dakota Johnson admitted she was afraid of returning to the franchise after director Sam Taylor-Johnson quit.

House of Cards director James Foley has joined on for the sequel, and Dakota Johnson now says the fear is gone and she’s excited for the next installment of the series.

“It’s quite exciting… There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn’t know what it was going to be like,” she told Empire Online . “I had an experience with Sam and then that all went away. Now I’m excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?”

While there is still more than a year until the movie actually hits theaters, the rampant speculation surrounding the casting, plot, and even release date for the first installment seem to indicate that the the Fifty Shades Darker rumors will continue on, and only grow in intensity as the shooting actually starts.
