According to Radar Online , Rosie O’Donnell’s estranged wife Michelle Rounds allegedly attempted to commit suicide and is now hospitalized.
According to the report, O’Donnell’s estranged wife, Michelle Rounds, was allegedly rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after attempting suicide inside of her hotel room.
A source close to the situation told Radar Online that it’s due to the nasty custody battle she’s currently having with Rosie O’Donnell. At the time she tried to commit suicide, Rounds was alone, and adopted daughter Dakota, 2, was nowhere in sight. She’s the daughter that is being fought over. Currently, Dakota lives with O’Donnell.
The alleged attempted suicide took place not too far from O’Donnell’s residence in Nyack, Long Island. Her mental state wasn’t the best over the past few days.
“Michelle was very depressed lately over the divorce and custody battle with Rosie. In fact, in the past few days her and Rosie spoke and they had a bitter argument,” said a source.
Recently, Rosie’s life has been filled with drama. Her adopted daughter Chelsea went missing, and then was eventually found with a heroin dealer. Then, Chelsea decided to leave again, this time to live with her biological mom. In the midst of that, O’Donnell’s father passed away, which must have been hard for the TV host. She is said to have had a contentious relationship with her father, which she had been open about.
For a while, it looked like the storm was settling down, as it’s been reported that Rosie has moved on from Michelle Rounds with actress Tatum O’Neal. While it’s not said whether or not Rounds’ attempted suicide is connected to O’Donnell moving on with O’Neal, it wouldn’t be too surprising to find out that was another catalyst.
Since rumors started to spread about their alleged relationship, Rosie and Tatum have taken trips to the city for a dinner and a Broadway show and have posted pictures together on social media.

As for Michelle Rounds, it’s said that an unidentified person had called the police. Eventually, officers in Clarkstown responded to the call and broke down Rounds’ hotel room door.
Another source told Radar Online , “She had apparently taken sone pills and drank wine. It looked to be a suicide attempt.”
As of right now, Rounds is allegedly still in the hospital and is supervised. It’s not known what condition she’s in.
