Maci Bookout of Teen Mom is under fire after sharing a photo from one of the Palms’ pricey Sky Villa suites. On September 22, Maci Bookout posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit, standing on the edge of the Sky Villa’s pool, and right away, her fans and followers on Instagram slammed her for flaunting her extravagant lifestyle.
Although it wasn’t revealed which of the suites Maci Bookout was actually staying in, or if she was staying in the suite at all, prices online show that suites start at $10,000 per night and can go up to $40,000 per night, depending on which suite is included.
On September 23, SheKnows revealed a few fans’ reactions to the photo.
“Must be nice with that teen mom money.”
“Not real cool with [Maci Bookout] flaunting this extravagant lifestyle… makes it look like teen pregnancy is [glamorous].”
“I believe the point was that the only reason any of them such as [Maci Bookout], Kail, Farrah etc even had the opportunities to write their books, do appearances and whatever else they do to make the money they have is ONLY because they got knocked up and were lucky enough to get picked by MTV which for some impressionable teenagers can make it look glamorous because if it wasn’t for that they wouldn’t be driving Mercedes and BMWs, renovating their houses and having vacations in Las Vegas @the Palms….”
Maci Bookout and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, traveled to Las Vegas this week after welcoming their first child earlier this year. As fans of Teen Mom OG saw on the show, Maci Bookout announced their pregnancy as cameras rolled and prepared for their daughter’s arrival as the show continued. Not only did Maci Bookout and her longtime boyfriend do the normal pre-baby activities, they also bought a new home.
Maci Bookout is the mother of two children, son Bentley, and daughter Jayde, and for years, fans have wondered how she can afford certain things — including a house. However, with a job of her own and her boyfriend working, as well, a home isn’t such a far-fetched idea. Still, a $10,000-$40,000 per night suite certainly is, but as noted above, Maci Bookout’s photo doesn’t exactly confirm she was the one paying for the extravagant vacation.
No word yet on whether or not Maci Bookout and the rest of the Teen Mom girls will return to MTV for a sixth season.
