David Foster has been by wife Yolanda’s side since she was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, and now, over three years later, he continues to offer his support. During a September 20 interview with Entertainment Tonight , David Foster gave an update on his reality star wife’s health.

“Yolanda is doing the best she can,” David Foster told Nancy O’Dell. “She’s on a mission and she’s just going to keep trying until she finds a way to get better. It’s been three and a half years and she just keeps trying.”

Just one month ago, David Foster traveled to Ohio with Yolanda, where the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star underwent breast implant removal after discovering one of her 20-year-old implants had been leaking. At the time, Yolanda shared the following update on Instagram with her many fans and followers.

“Turn a mess into a message… We might have hit the jackpot by finding all this silicone from a 20 year old implant rupture through ultrasound mapping as shown in this selfie. Thank you Dr.Feng for holding my hand and leading the way #UncoveringTheMystery #ChronicLymeDisease #ExPlantSurgery @FengClinic #MyHealthJourney #DeterminedToFindACure.”

David Foster also spoke of Yolanda’s health during an interview with Us Weekly in February, three months after she revealed she had suffered a relapse .

“Yolanda is truthfully not great… She’s just worn out. It just beats you to the ground. The strange thing about Lyme is that for some people can get it and they can have it for a couple of years and they just fight it off like a cold. And for other people it brings them to their knees.”

David Foster’s wife reportedly suffered a relapse in December of last year amid filming on Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . One month later, she told fans in her Bravo blog that she was no longer able to read, write, and watch television. She was then seen struggling to get through the fifth reunion taping, and ultimately left early, leaving her future with the show up in the air.

Luckily, however, David Foster’s wife has reportedly seen in improvement since removing her breast implants, which were believed to have made her Lyme disease symptoms worse and has returned to filming with her Bravo co-stars.

For more of David Foster’s wife, Yolanda, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 when the show returns to Bravo later this year.
