MTV star Leah Messer didn’t want anyone to know where she was being treated while filming Teen Mom 2 , but on September 12, she revealed the name of the facility on Twitter, telling fans she may possibly release her medical records to prove she was not suffering from a “drug problem,” as many have claimed.

@sandycue I’ll have to provide ppl with my medical records for them to know the truth even records for Sierra Tuscan. #sad

According to Sierra Tucson’s official website, the facility specializes “in the treatment of addictions, complex mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders,” including “addictions, trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders, and chronic pain.”

Sierra Tucson is located in Arizona, which differs from In Touch Weekly ‘s report, which claimed the MTV star had been in a treatment center in Utah from May until June.

While both of the MTV star’s ex-husbands, Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, have spoken about Messer’s alleged addiction issues, she insists the only reason she went away to treatment was to address issues of anxiety and depression. Still, speculation regarding possible prescription abuse has continued, especially after the MTV star admitted to her mother that she had begun feeling as though she was “becoming dependent” on her pain pills.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV spoke of her dependency concerns during an early episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6. In a clip shared by People Magazine , the MTV star also explained her pain pill prescription as she prepared to leave her three daughters and head to treatment.

“I have to leave my babies for a month, and I haven’t cried yet,” the MTV star told her mother in the clip. “I know I have to do this for them. I know I do, because the person I used to be, the happy person I used to be, is fading away.”

The MTV star then revealed she began taking pain pills after a painful birth with daughter Adalynn in early 2013.

“When I was hurting so bad, I’d take the medication, because I could get up and go. I could take care of my kids. My back wasn’t hurting. I told you guys, ‘I’ve got this medication. I feel like I’m becoming dependent. I can’t take this medication.’ I stopped taking the medication.”
