Juliette Grimes, a six-year-old Texas girl, recently became trapped in an arcade game, leading to a good story and a firm grounding.

According to Lo cal 8 Now, Juliette and her family were eating at a pizza parlor in Frisco, Texas, when her older sister gave her an irresistible dare, or “double-dare” as eight-year-old Katy tells it. She told her to climb into the arcade game and get her a bouncy ball. Of course, doing what any six-year-old would do, Juliette climbed through the tiny opening.

“I haven’t told my mom this yet,” Katy said. “But, maybe, it was a double dog dare.”

Juliette said she just wanted to get her sister a ball out of the machine, when asked why she climbed in. She went on to explain how the arcade game managed to trap her inside.

“I opened the door, and I had my legs out,” she explained, “so I opened the door, then put my whole body in there… and I got balls, but I couldn’t get out.”

Juliette Grimes’ mother Cecilia Green and several other adults had been keeping an eye on the children while they played in the arcade room. However, all of them managed to miss the moment when Juliette climbed into the claw machine , CBS DFW reported.

“In her world, there are no challenges,” Green admitted. “If there’s a boundary, they’re meant for other kids. Not for her. Anything and everything is a challenge.”

Cecilia said the Frisco Fire Department arrived at the pizza parlor and were able to free Juliette. While both of the girls are grounded, with no television or sweets, they both managed to walk away from the ordeal unharmed.

“I don’t think she’s going to do it again,” Green said. “Hopefully. At least, another few years, at least.” “I hope you learned your lesson!” Katy laughed, pointing at Juliette, who in turn giggled at her big sister.

Now, the important question — did Katy get her ball? Yes, Juliette completed her dare and retrieved the ball for her sister.
