There is shocking video that is making the rounds online, due to the way a camerawoman, named Petra Laszlo, made herself a horrible part of the story. In the video, Petra is seen hitting a young girl in the stomach, and next, kicking and tripping a man running with a child.

For her actions, the Hungarian TV camerawoman was fired for kicking the fleeing refugees, reports the Sydney Morning Herald . The Hungarian television camerawoman could first be seen on video, hitting a young girl in the stomach as the girl breaks away from the crowd and runs. The girl looks back briefly in confusion at the journalist, who, like other camera operators, should have simply been filming the scene. Laszlo was fired from N1TV, which is an online channel that’s a part of the far-right Jobbik party, but even the folks at N1TV aren’t defending Petra’s actions.

The fact that the Hungarian reporter would harm migrants on camera has outraged plenty of people and made the video go viral, reports the New York Times. With Laszlo so boldly appearing to kick and hit migrants, N1TV can’t defend her actions — especially since they were recorded on video and the videos have gone viral. The defenders of the anti-immigrant Jobbik party, N1TV, issued a statement about their own former journalist’s bad behavior.

The translated version appeared on the Facebook page of the Internet-based station.

“The Associate N1tv Today Night was the Röszkei Gy?jt?pontnál. The cameraman employment, extraordinary notice today, we removed it. The Case for us closes. The N1TV colleagues today behaved unacceptably in Röszke collection point. The cameraman working relationship, extraordinary notice was released today. The case was considered closed [on] our part.

Whether the case is closed in public opinion is another story. The video of the right-wing Hungarian TV reporter tripping refugees has been covered everywhere from Slate Magazine to ABC Online . The large crowd of Syrian refugees were near the Hungary-Serbia border on Tuesday when the reporter recording the hotbed scene in Roszke got involved in a way that brought a heated reaction — not only from the man she is seen tripping in the video, but from the public across the globe.

Meanwhile, reaction to Petra on Twitter has been heated and swift. Varying opinions about Laszlo’s actions show some folks believe she should be jailed for her actions.
