Nick Jonas is riding high right now, and things could be getting even better for the former Jonas brother.
When it comes to the music industry, there are few higher honors than being endorsed by Jay Z, and according to Hollywood Life , Nick Jonas has recently received Jay Z’s praise .
“Jay Z is always a forward thinking businessman and always wants to be on the cutting edge of music, business and anything else that will make him the entrepreneur that he is — and his next project is Nick Jonas. He wants to record with him and he wants Beyonce to record with him. He sees Nick as the next Justin Timberlake.”
There’s nothing quite like teaming up with music’s power couple themselves, and let’s be honest: If anyone has the ability to turn Nick Jonas into the next Justin Timberlake, it’s Jay Z himself.
Jay Z reportedly made the Nick Jonas observations after Jonas performed Saturday at Jay Z’s Made in America Fest.
Jay Z and Justin Timberlake have worked together on several collaborations, including the hits “Suit & Tie” and “Holy Grail.” If the reports from Hollywood Life are any indication, a collaboration from Jay Z and Jonas could be next.
According to The Daily Mail , the former Disney star showed up to the event in “rock star black leather” and a grey t-shirt. In addition to his own songs, Jonas also performed a cover of Outkast’s “Roses” and Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison.”
After the Made in America Fest, Nick Jonas’ Instagram showed a few photos from the event. The first was a video of Nick Jonas performing his single “Jealous,” followed by photos of Jonas with Jay Z and Jonas with Kelly Rowland.

The Made in America Fest featured dozens of acts, including Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Big Sean, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, and many, many more. The event was sponsored by Budweiser and held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Previously, the event has been held simultaneously in Los Angeles, as well.
