Anna Duggar Divorce: Family Members Reportedly Pushing For Anna To Dump Her Cheating Husband

Anna Duggar may be headed for divorce as family members of the embattled wife are reportedly trying to get her to ditch cheating husband Josh.

While Josh Duggar is heading off to Reformer’s Unanimous rehab center in Rockford, Illinois, Anna is being left behind to care for the couple’s children. After being revealed as a member of the infidelity-promoting site Ashley Madison, Josh admitted that he had cheated on his wife and was addicted to pornography.

While Anna Duggar has stayed by his side, at least publicly, sources say some close to her are trying to push for divorce.

“They’re very angry,” a source close to Anna told People . “They want her and the kids to get away from him.”

Some of these family members have already spoken out. Anna’s brother, Daniel Keller , has openly called for his sister to leave Josh.

“I have told her I would pay for her to move out here [with] me and pay for her kids,” he wrote on Facebook (via Wonderwall ). “I don’t think Josh will see that this is a big deal and truly be broken until that happens. I [bet] my life on the fact that Josh has not come to true brokenness yet.”

Keller received a bit of backlash from Duggar supporters but stood by his comments.

“Tell me how you would feel if someone cheated on your sister and brought so much disgrace to you and ur family,” he responded to his critics.

There may be more support as well. Josh’s sister, Jessa Duggar, this week posted a link to an angry post written by her father-in-law calling Josh a “hypocritical Christian.”

Despite the support, it appears difficult for Anna Duggar to bring herself to divorce her cheating husband.

“Anna will not leave him,” a source told People last month. “Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him … Divorce is not even something that will be discussed.”

There are also some trying to convince Anna Duggar not to divorce Josh. Sources have said that privately, Anna is assuming some of the blame for Josh’s decision to stray, and the Duggar family church appears to be siding with Josh. The family follows the teachings of Bill Gothard and his Institute in Basic Life Principles, a group that often suggests scorned women to forgive their husbands and stay with them.
