Miranda Lambert hasn’t had an easy summer following the news hit that she and Blake Lambert were yet another couple to divorce. Lambert was then slammed with cheating rumors almost immediately after the news hit that a divorce had been finalized between the two country stars.
While Blake has kept silent, aside from Twitter, Lambert has been in the public eye a bit more. Earlier in the day, Lambert showed off her new look that seems to be inspired by her divorce . Posing with her new blonde locks, Miranda took to Instagram to show her followers her stunning hair. It’s not surprising that she would change her hair, as people often make a drastic change to their appearance after a breakup.
At the time, the country singer captioned the photo, “What doesn’t kill you makes you blonder. platinum #blondeshavemorefun.”
It doesn’t sound like Lambert needs any help with having fun. As the Inquisitr reported, Lambert hit the street on a date night with Ashley Monroe. Monroe posted a photo of the pair smiling it up on her Instagram account. Soon after that, Lambert posted a photo as well. This is the first time we saw the singer in happy spirits since the news of her divorce.
The couple announced in a brief statement about the end of their marriage.
“This is not the future we envisioned, and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Miranda has denied rumors of any infidelity on her part. There were rumors that she had an affair with artist Chris Young, a mutual friend of the couple. Young responded to the rumors on his own personal Twitter account as the news went viral.
Young, who toured with Lambert, said, “I don’t normally address gossip but in this case I will. My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda’s divorce. That is totally FALSE. They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up.”
Then, during a concert Lambert, got candid about falling on hard times.
While, in Detroit, the singer joked, “I wish I’ve been drinking all day, I deserve it. I just got divorced.”
