WWE News: Potential Spoiler For Brock Lesnar Vs. Undertaker At ‘SummerSlam’

When WWE legend The Undertaker made his shocking, or, depending on how closely you follow wrestling news, not so shocking return at WWE Battleground last month , many expected that he would eventually get his revenge on Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam via a clean win. However, that doesn’t appear to be happening.

In the weeks leading up to Brock Lesnar’s WWE world heavyweight championship match with Seth Rollins at WWE Battleground , Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman was constantly making fun of Kane for being The Undertaker’s “baby brother.” Also, in the main-event segment of the last RAW before the WWE Battleground show, WWE wrote Kane off of television by having Brock Lesnar break his ankle.

The fact that Heyman made it a point to tie Kane in with The Undertaker, and the fact that “The Deadman” is being presented as the heel in the feud has Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer thinking that Kane is going to get involved in the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar match this Sunday, and cost Lesnar the match, making it necessary for the two of them to have their third and final encounter at WrestleMania 32 .

“The one thing that I haven’t really thought of until now is Kane coming back to cost Lesnar the match. I don’t like the idea but it could happen. Brock broke his leg, and before Brock broke his leg, they made sure for a couple of weeks to tie-in Undertaker and Kane. There’s a reason why they did that. And Kane is scheduled to be back any minute now. I mean, he’s ready to be back, whether it’s on Sunday, Monday, a week from Monday… He’s coming back.

“If Undertaker is going to be a heel and win, that’s a way to be a heel and win is to have outside interference.”

If Kane does interfere in this Sunday’s main-event and cause Lesnar to lose, that could mean that we could be getting a pay-per-view match between Kane and Lesnar, which wouldn’t really be the best thing in the world. So, because of that, WWE may hold off on having Kane get involved in the match, and just have Undertaker win clean with the Tombstone.

WWE is also expecting The Undertaker to be booed this Sunday night, which is possible. But it seems more likely there will be a 50/50 reaction during the match. But, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
