The case of Connie Ditto grown deeper now that it was revealed that her husband, Mark Ditto , was arrested for assaulting his 41-year-old wife, as reported by WTVR. Initially, Mark claimed that he was very worried about Connie because she sent him a strange text Tuesday evening and didn’t hear from Ditto again.
Connie was found by police via a license plate reader. As readers of the Ditto case might have predicted when hearing about the odd tale, Connie was hiding away in an Extended Stay America Hotel in Innsbrook. When the result of Ditto’s plight was expressed to police, Connie ended up getting a restraining order against Mark — and he was eventually arrested for assault.
“She said she wasn’t feeling well and was going to go to a walk-in clinic.”
Mark claimed that the assault claims are false. Ditto, instead, claims Connie was drunk and wanted to drive — and when Mark, along with the Ditto daughters, tried to take her car keys from her on Thursday night, she supposedly fell and hurt her head.
“I’m totally floored. We as a family are very happy Connie was found unharmed. I’m very sad and sorry for her apparent health problems. I’m very disappointed by what she’s put her family through and all the people across the country who supported her search.”
Connie texted Mark saying she was going to get an X-ray for her head, and that’s when the Virginia mom vanished , as reported by CBS News . Fears arose that Ditto had driven off into a ditch or had fainted while driving.
When Connie went missing , as reported by the Inquisitr , police began a search for the missing mom that made national news.
“I am clueless as to what happened.”
Connie first went missing on Tuesday from Henrico, Virginia. Found on Friday, the owner of Organic Hair Studio in the same city reportedly last had communications with her husband, Mark, at approximately 8 p.m. on August 11. Mark, for his part, claimed that he had no idea where Connie went after texting him and turning off her phone.
“I am clueless as to what happened. Why did she turn her phone off?”
Connie told Mark , reports the Daily Mail , that she was going straight from her hair salon to an emergency urgent care center in Short Pump due to head pains. Varying reports of Connie supposedly falling or getting into an altercation over car keys were told to the media. Now that Mark has been arrested for assault, it appears more of the real story of the missing-now-found mom is being told.
