Lizzie Rovsek decided not to return full time to The Real Housewives of Orange County last year because she felt bullied by Tamra Barney. Many felt that Tamra was insecure about Lizzie, who was sweet, had a loving family, and was growing her business. Plus, Lizzie had bigger breasts, which must have done something to Tamra, because she kept bringing it up.
But everything went downhill when Barney’s husband, Eddie, essentially paid Lizzie Rovsek a compliment in a game. And when Barney started talking behind everyone’s back, Lizzie called her out on it. The dramatic confrontation went down in Bali, and Rovsek still has bad memories of the cast trip.
According to a new Bravo report, Lizzie Rovsek is now revealing that the last dinner in Mo’orea was almost perfect until all hell broke lose. This is almost the same thing that happened last year when the ladies were in Bali, so Lizzie felt odd about the entire situation. In fact, Rovsek felt that it was almost a repeat, since Tamra was also the focus of this season’s drama.
“It was almost a perfect night, but of course, all hell had to break loose. Luckily, I wasn’t involved in any of the drama that transpired. Last year’s trip to Bali ended horribly, and I felt very burned from last year. My plan tonight is to stay out of the drama as much as possible and hopefully try and keep the peace,” Lizzie explains.
Lizzie isn’t interested in the drama anymore. Rovsek quit The Real Housewives of Orange County to get away from it and focus on her business. And yet, she is back as a friend of the wives and the drama continues with Barney right in the middle.
“I think Shannon’s comment about Tamra being a ‘pot-stirrer’ was taken completely out of context. The truth is Tamra was the source of a lot of conflict last year. As far as I can say, Tamra is a new person this year. It did stir things up a little bit,” Lizzie Rovsek reveals, adding that last year’s drama was still fresh.
“I was a little on edge this trip just in the aftermath from last year and I can see how Shannon could have been too. I honestly think Shannon was trying to give Meghan advice on how ‘pot stirring’ works in this group.”
When Lizzie left the show, she wanted to focus on her swimwear line, and she has done very well for herself. In addition, Rovsek and her husband, Christian, really wanted to try for a third child. But once they had a pregnancy scare, the couple may have reconsidered — for now, according to the Inquisitr .
