Taylor Swift made her love for rap music clear last night at her 1989 Tour stop in Seattle. The “Shake It Off” singer brought Fetty Wap on stage to sing his chart-topping ode to ‘hood love, ‘Trap Queen.”
This isn’t the first time Swift has brought out popular acts to join her on stage. Taylor has shared the spotlight on her 1989 Tour with acts like Jason DeRulo, The Weeknd, and Nick Jonas, NME News reports.
Taylor and Fetty Wap performed “Trap Queen” in front of 60,000 fans at the CenturyLink Field venue in what Swift later called “the happiest moment” of her life to date on Twitter.

Taylor hasn’t been shy about professing her love for rap music. She recently collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on a remix for her song, “Bad Blood.” Lamar also appeared Swift’s blockbuster music video for the song. In 2011, Taylor brought Nicki Minaj on stage to perform Minaj’s hit, Super Bass, which made their recent Twitter spat even more surprising.
Taylor Swift is at the top of her game right now, though, and shows no sign of stopping. She recently called Spotify “a start-up with no cash flow” since she removed all of her music from the streaming site. Swift has become something of a champion in the war between artists and streaming sites over money.
She recently took on Apple, Inc., threatening to remove all of her music from their new streaming service because the tech giant refused to pay artists during the three month free streaming option for users. Apple has since reversed their decision after Swift wrote an open letter to them detailing why she felt the deal was unfair to artists and why she was standing up against it.
Fetty Wap wasn’t the only one to join Taylor on stage in Seattle on Saturday night. Russell Wilson and Ciara also graced the stage and performed, SB Nation reports. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback and his pop-star girlfriend were elevated onto the stage to help Swift with the performance.
Fortunately, Wilson didn’t have to dance during the number, and left the real performing duties to Ciara.
The one person who probably won’t be asked to rock out with Taylor Swift on tour is Miley Cyrus . The former Disney star recently criticized Swift’s song, “Bad Blood,” for promoting violence and revenge, PopSugar reports.
“I don’t get the violence-revenge thing,” Miley told Marie Claire for her September cover story. “That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”
Taylor Swift and her 1989 Tour will continue its run in America until October, with dates scheduled in Asia at the end of 2015.
