‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose, Wrestler, Found Dead

“Playboy” Buddy Rose, a wrestler during the 70s and 80s, has died. Rose, aka Paul Perschmann, was found in his home in Vancouver, Washington this week. He was 56 years old.

‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose Death

The cause of “Playboy” Buddy Rose’s death has not yet been determined. Family friends, however, tell area media outlets Rose suffered from diabetes and other health issues.

“Playboy” Buddy Rose worked with both the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and the American Wrestling Association. He made history when he wrestled in the first WrestleMania event in March of 1985. Rose wrestled as the masked “Executioner.” He lost to Tito Santana.

Rose’s final public match was in 2005 at a Wrestle Reunion event in Florida.
