Michelle Obama wants to be Beyonce – or at least, that’s what she said she would be if she wasn’t First Lady. In a recent interview with rapper Wale, who queried, “If you had the opportunity to have a different occupation, what would it be?” Michelle confessed, “ I would be Beyonce . I’ve got the hands.” Mrs. Obama then demonstrated her best Beyonce moves, reports People magazine.

The interview, which was posted on Instagram, was taped after Mrs. Obama’s Beating the Odds summit at the White House last week. Michelle and Wale sat down together, to interview each other on topics ranging from the easiest way to get financial aid for college to “who was your favorite teacher?,” reports People .

During the Beating the Odds summit, “First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed more than 130 college-bound students from across the country to participate” according to the White House website. The summit, hosted by Michelle, “focused on sharing tools and strategies to help more students successfully transition to college and complete the next level of their education.” Wale was invited as a guest speaker, however, Beyonce was not.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the Obama family loves the entertainment industry. Earlier this year, First Daughter Malia Obama was spotted on the set of HBO’s Girls , and is interning with the show this summer.

Michelle has long been a fan of Beyonce. At the Neighborhood Ball, which celebrated the inauguration of President Obama, Beyonce was an invited singer, and Michelle reportedly loved meeting the “Single Ladies” star. Beyonce serenaded President Obama and Michelle during their first dance as First Lady and President, reports Vanity Fair .

In a 2012 interview with People , Michelle revealed she would love to be Beyonce, when asked who she would be if she could be someone else. “Gosh. If I had some gift, I’d be Beyonce, I’d be some great singer…It looks like musicians just have the most fun.”

The love is mutual. Beyonce revealed in a video interview that while she doesn’t necessarily want to be first lady, she’s still a big fan of Michelle Obama, confessing, “I’m so in awe of Michelle Obama. Every time I see her, she inspires me, she empowers me, she encourages me to live a healthy lifestyle…I’m proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”
