Samsung has been trying to convince smartphone consumers that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones are the way to go. iDownloadBlog recently described how Samsung’s recent commercial takes aim at the iPhone 6s .

“Samsung’s marketing department has admittedly become very skilled at the craft of Apple-bashing, always eager to find an interesting new angle to discredit the iPhone.”

The article goes on to note how Samsung’s latest television commercial for the Galaxy S6 Edge attempts to make fun of those who would use an iPhone, comparing them to a “nation of checkers.”

This week, Apple has launched its own iPhone web campaign that concentrates more on the capabilities of the iPhone rather than bashing Samsung or the Galaxy S6. MacRumors quotes from Apple’s campaign.

“Every iPhone we’ve made — and we mean every single one — was built on the same belief. That a phone should be more than a collection of features. That, above all, a phone should be absolutely simple, beautiful, and magical to use.”

MacRumors goes on to note that the campaign highlights the iPhone’s integration of hardware and software, camera capabilities, all the available apps, lack of malware, and Apple’s commitment to privacy when using Touch ID and Apple Pay. The campaign has received a positive response from Apple lovers. Bryan Chaffin from the Mac Observer praises the simple language Apple uses.

“It’s a multipage display that is gorgeous, laid out well, and interactive, but what stands out for me is the company’s use of plain language to encapsulate what fans of iPhone think about our device.”

Chaffin goes on to note that Apple gets straight to the reason why you should buy an iPhone without using fancy language that confuses people. The responses to Apple’s campaign on Twitter were positive as well.

Meanwhile, if you are using an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, you may want to avoid upgrading to the public beta version of iOS 9. There have been so many complaints that Apple is no longer allowing reviews for iOS 9 in the App store. BetaNews describes the situation.

“While the company is keen on getting feedback for the next version of its mobile operating system (just as Microsoft is with the preview builds of Windows 10 ), there have been concerns that problems with apps during beta testing has led to a swathe of negative reviews in the App Store.”

Apple is expected to announce the release of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in early September. What do you think of Apple’s newest advertising campaign? Let us know in the comments section.
