Calvin Harris has admitted to being “insanely happy” with pop star Taylor Swift. This could be the first time the 25-year-old singer has filled the proverbial “blank space” with something she won’t regret.
As anyone who has followed Taylor Swift’s personal life could tell you, she has a reputation for not being with boyfriends for very long. Rumors have surfaced, speculating about why her relationships don’t usually last, and she even took advantage of the rumors in the song “Shake it Off.”
Swift has also been known for using her past love life as inspiration for her music, often writing them about ex-boyfriends. Some of them are vague, such as “You Belong with Me,” while others are rather obvious, like “Style.” With her 1989 album, she has thrown a proverbial monkey-wrench into the trend and written about life itself more, which shines in “Bad Blood,” rumored to be about her row with Katy Perry .

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend trend could change now, with Calvin Harris being “insanely happy” with the pop star. In a recent interview with KISS FM UK’s Breakfast show , he talked about their relationship and addressed some of the more absurd rumors.
“[Obviously] there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything sort of publicly for a while, someone will make something up, and there will be some sort of story… It gets more and more ridiculous! From me apparently being allergic to cats, or Taylor and I are moving in together, or we’re getting married next week. It’s a lot, but you’ve just got to take it how it is.
“There’s a whole bunch of times when we’ve been hanging out and nobody’s caught it. You know, it’s not like every single time we go out we get a photograph taken of us. That’s not the case. But for me, though, it could be a lot worse and I’d still be like insanely happy with her so I’m good with it.”
Part of what appears to be making Calvin Harris “insanely happy” with Taylor Swift is how easily their careers allow them to find time for each other.
“The luxury is we can both travel very easily. I think that’s a reason that it works so well … It’s really not hard to see each other on a regular basis.”
Could this be the first time Taylor Swift has a long-term boyfriend? If so, it’s apparent that Calvin Harris couldn’t be more “insanely happy.”
