Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe will give out her final rose in less than two weeks, and Reality Steve is confident his season finale spoilers are correct. However, there is speculation that the show’s producers went to great lengths to keep the outcome of the final rose ceremony a secret, and fans will be in for a surprise on July 27.
Before the season premiere aired in May, Steve made it clear that Kaitlyn would pick no one at the end, even going up against anyone who challenged his spoilers .
“I will say it every time from now until July 27th when the finale airs to anyone who doubts the spoiler. Did you speak with the sources I spoke to this season? No? Then you have no idea what happens. It’s as simple as that.”
Weeks later, Kaitlyn released a Snapchat video that showed her in bed with Shawn Booth, prompting Steve to revise his spoilers to say Kaitlyn and Shawn are engaged. Considering Shawn got the first impression rose, and he’s managed to stick around despite his obvious insecurities, the new spoiler seems to be spot-on.
However, there is speculation that the Snapchat was set up to purposely throw off the ending of the show. Celeb Dirty Laundry states that the video may have been intentionally posted “under the producers orders” to stir up some chatter and throw off the spoilers.
If so, the season finale would be a complete shocker, with Nick walking away the winner and Shawn having a complete meltdown.
“Is it possible that NickViall is really engaged to The Bachelorette ? Could Kaitlyn have intentionally posted that SnapChat photo under the producers orders simply to increase the show’s buzz and throw off predictors? Was the SnapChat photo of Shawn and Kaitlyn in bed a red herring ?”
Viewers have witnessed many changes to the show this season, including filming overnight prior to hometowns, bringing Nick on mid-season, and revealing that Kaitlyn had sex with one guy (or possibly two guys) before the Fantasy Suite dates.
Filming hometowns at a central location instead of at the homes of the two final guys, and taping the final rose ceremony at the Bachelor mansion, all appear to be an attempt to keep everyone in the dark about the outcome of the show.
