The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ‘ upcoming sixth season may see a major change. While previous seasons have focused on the drama and relationships of the cast, a new report claims season six will incorporate the lives of the women’s children, as well.
“The story line would focus on the kids,” an insider told the New York Daily Mail ‘s Confidenti@l .
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Cody Simpson’s mother, Angie, is said to be “in talks” with producers about joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season six. Last week, E! News reported the news, claiming that while nothing had been set in stone, Bravo was interested in Angie . As fans of the show know, Cody Simpson has been involved with the daughter of housewife Yolanda Foster in recent years. While the couple is currently on the outs, they recently gave fans reason to believe there was still a possibility they would reconcile after posing for a photo on a plane.
Meanwhile, Bravo feels the ongoing Simpson/Hadid could lead to increased ratings on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
“Basically the producers are like, ‘Gigi’s so hot right now, how do we build on that?’ They want to make the kids more part of the drama and try to get more exposure that way for the entire show.”
After Simpson and Hadid, who has been seen a number of times on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , reunited on a plane to Canada, a source told OK! Magazine they planned to sit together to discuss the future of their relationship.
“Those seats weren’t a coincidence. They both decided that they were going to go home together because it looked like they were going to get back together.”
Although Simpson and Hadid have never appeared together on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , they certainly would cross paths if Simpson’s mother was to join. However, according to OK! Magazine ‘s source, their reconciliation may not happen.
“[Hadid] said that he needed to concentrate on her and he was too busy spreading the word on his music. He just didn’t agree with it so he said, ‘I don’t want to get back together with you right now. Not until you learn that my career is just as important as yours is.’”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six is currently in production. No word yet on whether Yolanda Foster will appear full-time.
