Jennifer Hudson supports same-sex marriage and proved it by crashing a same-sex wedding in Texas last week. The former American Idol star showed up at the W Dallas-Victory hotel for a surprise performance during the ceremony of two men named Chris and Scott, who had been dating for 14 years, according to People Magazine . Hudson sang her song “I Still Love You” for the happy couple, who were finally able to get married after last month’s Supreme Court ruling that made same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states.

“I’m very connected to the gay community, and it’s something I’m passionate about,” Hudson told People Magazine last year.
She joined forces with W Hotels and the Human Rights Campaign for their Turn it Up for Change program as a way to stay connected to the LGBTQ community.
“It only makes sense. This is my way of returning it,” she explained.
Jennifer Hudson has same-sex marriage featured in her music video for “I Still Love You” as well. According to Us Weekly , there are two men preparing for their wedding in the video, which was released about a month ago.
“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love,” she told MTV News (via Us Weekly ) about the music video.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the Turn it Up for Change campaign website states the following information about the program.
“Turn It Up For Change: Love Has No Limit is a campaign to promote equality through the power of music. Led by W Hotels and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), TIUFC is about raising the volume on the battle for marriage equality in the U.S. and raising funds to support the ongoing struggle for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) equality in all realms.
