For Miley Cyrus, the Fourth of July is just a “Party in the U.S.A.” Anytime is party time for this singer. The pop star proudly displayed her patriotic spirit with some of her friends on Instagram. As fans know, Miley isn’t one to shy away from the popular social media app.
Cyrus, 22, shared some fun photos with of herself with her BFF and personal assistant, Cheyne Thomas, and with her sister, Brandi Cyrus. Of course, the “Wrecking Ball” singer was decked out in red, white, and blue clothing and makeup. Cyrus threw a party on Saturday, which included appearances by Jeremy Scott, Katy Weaver, Wayne Coyne, Lauren Winzer, and Mike WiLL Made It.
In one of the photos, Miley is seeing wearing a crocheted American flag bikini top with matching sequined shorts as she puts her arm around Cheyne. She captioned the photo: “4th of Biew-ly!” Miley and Cheyne often refer one another as their “biew,” meaning “boo.” In another photo, Miley poses with Brandi as they smile for the camera. She captioned the photo: “Already lookin a hot mess @brandicyrus.”
In another photo, Cyrus shared a mirror selfie with her good friend, Katy Weaver. Both girls are seen wearing festive and patriotic headbands. Cyrus, of course, also wears a necklace with a marijuana-leaf pendant. Cyrus tagged her girlfriend in the photo and included the heart and American flag-emoji. According to a previous report via the Daily Mail , Weaver is dating Wayne Coyne , who is the lead singer of the alternative band, The Flaming Lips.
The singer also shared some selfies of herself with her good friends, Mike WiLL Made It and Jeremy Scott, designer of Moschino.
Miley’s Instagram account is constantly updated with candid photos and funny memes. The wacky entertainer recently adopted two new kittens, Kiki and Lilo, who have become the stars of her social media account. Miley also reportedly made an Instagram page for her new cuties. Miley also showed off her new tattoo, which is dedicated to her love of avocados. She credited Lauren Winzer for giving her the tattoo.
The open and free-spirited Cyrus also shared a photo of herself smoking marijuana with none other than rapper Snoop Dogg. Not only has the singer been open about LGBT rights, but she’s also open about the legalization of marijuana.
Spotify released a playlist just in time for the Fourth of July . One of the top songs on the list was Cyrus’ 2009 hit song, “Party in the USA.” It’s also the most-played song in 46 out of 50 states including Maine, New Hampshire, and North Dakota, according to a previous report on the Huffington Post .
