Neighbors of the Florida doctor who was found brutally murdered in home described hearing the chilling screams coming from her home on the morning of her death, according to the News-Press .
At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Lee county police officers arrived at the home of 46-year-old Dr. Teresa Ann Sievers at 27034 Jarvis Road – who was a Bonita Springs doctor – after receiving a call from her employees at the Restorative Health and Healing Center in Estero who were concerned about her missing work.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the doctor dead in her home . Before her brutal death, she and her husband, Mark Sievers, along with their two daughters — ages 8 and 10 — took a trip to Connecticut to visit family. Having several scheduled appointments with her patients, she left Connecticut early and returned home alone.
Once she made it home, she called her husband to inform him that she made it safely. She was mysteriously found dead hours later in her home, but Lee county police have not yet released any information surround the doctor’s death.

However, Sievers’ neighbors later told reporters that they were able to hear chilling screams coming from her home on the morning she was found murdered.
“It was early in the morning, before the sun was up… I got up and I heard what was like a shrill,” said neighbor Donetta Contreras.
“I have children and I know when a child gets hurt how they’ll have a shrill and to me that’s what it sounded like.”
“I’m very scared for my safety,” she added.
Another neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that he could hear a man’s voice arguing with the woman just before chilling screams were heard.
“We don’t know anything but that she was murdered,” said Sievers’ 52-year-old sister, Annie Lisa. “She called her husband and told him she got there safely.”
Police officials have ruled the tragedy a homicide. They are now asking the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding the death of the Florida doctor.
