It seems the on-again, off-again relationship between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin has hit yet another snag and, believe it or not, Gwyneth Paltrow actually had little to do with the split this time around. In the past, Paltrow had been rumored to be a cause of stress between Jennifer and Lawrence. It had seemed that Martin was having trouble moving on from his ex, a relationship he had described as ending through a “conscious uncoupling,” but it seems as if Ms. Lawrence had worked the stresses of that issue out with Chris.
More recently, it seems that other issues have been driving Lawrence and Martin apart, leaving the impression that they may not have been a good match to begin with, particularly with such unpredictable work schedules.
“Jen has been working nonstop and they never saw each other,” one insider told Us Weekly .
As sensible as that reason seems, rumors indicate that there may be more to the sudden split than the work conflicts cited by Lawrence’s sources. While seeing Martin has proven difficult, Jennifer has been finding time for her ex-boyfriend and X-Men: Apocalypse costar, Nicholas Hoult.
“They’re on great terms now,” the source said of Lawrence and Hoult. “And their families have stayed close.”
The same source assures Jennifer’s fans that there is no possibility of a reunion between Jennifer and Chris, saying that the relationship had “run its course.”
Adding to assertions that a reconciliation with Ms, Lawrence is unlikely, Chris Martin already seems to have moved on, reports Daily Mail . Martin has recently been spending time with singer Kylie Minogue. The two were seen walking arm in arm on a late evening date.
Meanwhile, Jennifer and Nicholas have been reconnecting, which may have come about naturally as the two have found themselves working together on the same film, X-Men: Apocalypse , which is currently filming and due out in May 2016.

The reunion between Ms. Lawrence and Nicholas seems to still be in the early stages, so the future of their relationship is unpredictable, but Jennifer and Nicholas have remained friendly exes throughout Jennifer’s romance with Chris Martin. Ms. Lawrence may now be ready to reunite with Hoult and see where things will lead.
