True Blood costars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child! The couple announced the good news on Tuesday.
Moyer, 42, has two children from his first relationship while Anna Paquin, 29, will deliver her first child this fall.
Anna and Stephen wed in Malibu, California in 2010, three years after they met on the set of their uber-popular HBO vampire drama where they play Sookie and Bill.
The couples pregnancy announcement comes just ahead of True Blood’s season 5 premiere which hits HBO on June 10.
Fans of the show will now wait with bated breath to see if True Blood will return for a sixth season. What we do know is that showrunner Alan Ball has stepped down from his role, leaving a lot of questions still up in the air and some pretty big shoes to fill should the show continue on its path.
It is becoming harder to believe that Bill and Sookie won’t end up together and that she’ll choose Eric as her boyfriend when we keep reading about how happy and in love Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are, perhaps that’s my inability to suspend my disbelief when I flip on the show.
In any case congratulations to the happy couple, here’s hoping for a healthy pregnancy and an awesome season 5 of True Blood.
