Country music’s bad boy Brantley Gilbert married Amber Cochran over the weekend.
It looks like the country star has finally found the woman of his dreams, and the two tied-the-knot on Sunday, June 28, at Gilbert’s home in Georgia.
According to E! News , Cochran, a school teacher, has served as Gilbert’s longtime muse , even inspiring several of his songs including “More Than Miles” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”
“Amber is an amazing person and has inspired a lot of my songs from ‘More Than Miles’ to ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’ for the last 10 years,” Gilbert, 29, told People Magazine following the announcement of his engagement. “I’m a blessed man to have her back in my life and can’t wait to make her my wife.”

“[Cochran] was the one that got away for about five years,” Brantley told the country radio program The Bobby Bones Show. “It came back around and I’ve never been happier. This little one, she’s the one, and I’m a pretty stoked dude. I’m pretty excited to say the least.”
“She’s the one that got away for five years, and they always say if you love something you’ve got to let it go, and if it’s meant to be, it’ll come back. It’s so cliché, but now it happened to me. So I’m a believer.”
As for the wedding, Brantley had briefly talked about the ceremony, revealing that it wouldn’t be “very big at all. The only reason it’s got any size to it is we’re both from small towns that the only thing that divides the towns is a river. It’s all people we’ve known most of our lives.” And the vows? Gilbert said he just wanted to “speak from the heart.”

Brantley previously dated fellow country singer Jana Kramer , 31. They pair announced their engagement 28th birthday in January 2013, but decided to call it quits later that year in August. Jana married pro football player Mike Caussin last month, after revealing their engagement in December 2014.
