What are the Walt Disney World park hours for July 4, and what time do the holiday fireworks displays start?

The Magic Kingdom is open from 8 a.m. – 1 a.m. on Saturday. Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios both open at 9 a.m., and close at 10 p.m. and midnight, respectively. The Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on July 4, and the hours for both water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) are 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Guests who stay at select Walt Disney World Resorts are entitled to an “Extra Magic Hour” and will be able to get in to Disney’s Hollywood Studios one hour early on July 4 (8 a.m.), and stay two hours beyond closing time at Epcot (11 p.m.)

There are several fireworks displays scheduled for the 4th of July in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot.

WDW Info reports that the Disney’s Celebrate America – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky presentation will run for two nights — July 3 and 4 — in the Magic Kingdom. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. on both nights. According to All Ears , the best place to view the fireworks is right on Main Street, or right on the beach at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts.

Head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Saturday night for the Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration at 10:15 p.m. The show will feature fireworks set to a rock ‘n roll soundtrack.

Epcot will not only have fireworks to celebrate Independence Day, visitors can also attend a holiday-themed Voices of Liberty Concert (12:30, 1:45, and 3 p.m.). Keep a lookout for characters Chip ‘n’ Dale — they will be donning patriotic costumes near the American Adventure. Epcot’s IllumiNations fireworks, scheduled for 10 p.m. on Saturday, will feature a special Heartbeat of Freedom finale.
