It looks like the Louisianans are sticking together. Bobby Jindal, who just launched his presidential campaign on Wednesday, will be getting some much-needed votes from the most well-known family from the Southern state. Just recently, Jep Robertson, and his wife, Jessica, spilled in an interview that the Louisiana governor has their official stamp of approval for the presidency.
The Duck Dynasty stars sat down with Fox News to chat on their choice for president , as well as to talk about their brand new book called The Good, the Bad, and the Grace of God: What Honesty and Pain Taught Us About Faith, Family, and Forgiveness . It is no secret that the Robertson clan holds their faith and their family high above anything else. Bobby Jindal is also a man of prayer who has defended the reality stars in the past.
The youngest Robertson boy and his wife have spent some time with Jindal. This comment from the couple is seen as an official endorsement for the presidential hopeful.
“I definitely would vote for him. He’s a very, very good man. We’ve gotten to chat with him several times, kind of just talking, he’s a great dude… he’s very transparent, has a great family, so yeah I’d definitely give him my vote.”
Jep and Jessica Robertson have been out promoting their new book lately. They have been very transparent about their past struggles, including Jep’s sexual abuse when he was young. Jessica also revealed her secret marriage before she met her reality star husband, as previously reported by the Inquisitr . These interviews also gives them a chance to talk about their faith and their political views.
Older brother Willie Robertson is also a huge supporter of Bobby Jindal. He and his wife, Korie, have recently voiced their support for him if he were to make a choice to run. They have yet to give their own official endorsement since the announcement, but the governor’s conservative views certainly align with the Robertson family’s as well.
“Bobby is a great man, he’s a godly man. I’m the kind of guy who likes smart people … and that guy’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met.”
In fact, there is a page on the official Bobby Jindal website that has Duck Dynasty written all over it. It looks like he is proud to have this family’s backing as he starts his campaign.

The TV family had the governor on their A&E show in Season 6. They have had the chance to get to know him better, so it looks like they are not just throwing out their endorsements without knowing who he is.
It will be interesting to see if the rest of the Robertson family will throw in their two cents on their feelings about Jindal in the White House.
