Has Mariah Carey finally found the perfect man? After an “ all Mariah, all the time ” yacht party off the coast of Sardinia on June 21, it looks like billionaire James Packer may be the man for Mariah. The diva is known for over the top behaviour and unreasonable demands, but according to TMZ , “Packer is in hook, line and sinker,” and Mariah is “game for something serious.” The two were introduced by Brett Ratner, a film producer who is friends with both Mariah and James.
“Mariah thinks James is a very nice guy. She trusts Brett’s instincts and is really going to give it a chance.”

The Mariah-obsessed James made sure that the only music playing at his yacht party was Carey’s own, and Mariah showed signs of enjoying every minute of the evening. She even posed for a photo together with James and his ex-wife, Jodhi Meares. Meares and Packer have remained friends since their break up, and the Daily Telegraph describes her as “one of his closest buddies and confidantes,” speculating that the introduction is a sign that James is serious about Mariah . Meares posted the photo with the caption, “Amore,” so it looks like the romance has her approval.

The yacht party happened while the two were on a Mediterranean getaway together, holding hands as they strolled around the island of Capri and enjoying Packer’s speedboat. In the evenings, the newly romantic couple returned to his luxury yacht, where Mariah’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, joined them for some family time. Mariah posted photos on Instagram of their fun together.

Mariah kicked back and relaxed with her new beau, but with all the excitement of finding a billionaire to love her, she may have gotten carried away. When Carey unzipped her wetsuit after a banana boat ride, Hollywood Life reports that the “Infinity” singer may have shown “a little bit more skin than she intended to.”
Carey didn’t seem to be all that bothered by the “ nip slip ,” and according to a source who spoke with Hollywood Life , James and Mariah appeared to be “at ease in each other’s company” and “affectionate” throughout the holiday.
“They were like a normal couple.”
Normal, that is, except for the incredible wealth they have between them. Mariah Carey’s net worth is an impressive $225 million, but that is dwarfed next to Packer’s fortune, a rumored $4.6 billion.
