Caitlyn Jenner will be celebrating Father’s Day this year. Caitlyn — formerly known as Bruce — Jenner recently revealed herself to the world via a cover story in Vanity Fair . Despite her transition, Caitlyn still allows her children to call her dad. In a tweet sent on Saturday, Kylie Jenner, Caitlyn’s youngest daughter, revealed that Father’s Day plans are still on for her and her family.

An insider source told People Magazine that Caitlyn would prefer that her kids not call her Bruce , however.
” ‘[Caitlyn] spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this,’ the source said. ‘She would prefer not to be called “Bruce,” but told the kids that they could still call her “Dad,” at least for now.’ ”
Father’s Day may still be tense for the Jenners this year. There have been rumors that Caitlyn’s transition has caused a huge rift between her and her older children, Radar Online reports.
“Caitlyn is so far removed from the person that she was prior to the transition that some of her step-daughters cannot even stand to be around her right now.
She is living for the spotlight now, whereas she always used to hate it.”
According to the source, Brody Jenner, former reality star, is the one who feels the most alienated. Brody is no longer speaking to Caitlyn because of comments she made in the Vanity Fair article about him and the older Jenner siblings not wanting to be part of Caitlyn’s upcoming docu-series — a docu-series she was paid millions of dollars to produce.
Caitlyn recently signed a $1 million deal to produce the series, which some have called a publicity grab.
“Brody just doesn’t want to be part of the publicity circus,” the insider source continued. “Several of her daughters reached out to try and soothe over tensions, but Caitlyn does not want anything to be remedied.”
Though there may be some strife between her and Brody, some of Caitlyn’s older children from previous marriages seem to be handling the transition in stride.
Her eldest daughter, Cassandra Jenner, voiced her support to People Magazine .
“There’s so much more to being a woman than our external appearance,” she said. “I am really looking forward to exploring that more with her.”
Caitlyn Jenner’s docu-series, I Am Cait, premieres on July 26 at 9 p.m and will air on the E! Network.
