Jayde Carter’s first photo has just been posted on Instagram. Following her birth last month, Jayde Carter’s mom, Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, gave fans their first look at her daughter. Unfortunately, the photo is no close-up, and it’s a bit blurry, as well.

On June 18, Bookout posted the photo of Jayde Carter on her Instagram page, along with the caption , “We are all enjoying our beautiful new addition. yes, even our pup Bonnie has fallen in love with baby [Jayde Carter]! just a little sneak peek of our gorgeous newborn/family photos shot by the amazing @brittanyphotographs.”
Bookout and her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Taylor McKinney, welcomed Jayde Carter in May, two weeks ahead of Bookout’s due date. Jayde Carter was the second child for Bookout, who is also mother to 6-year-old Bentley, and the first for McKinney.
After welcoming Bentley in 2009 with her then-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards, Bookout was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, which makes it difficult to conceive a child. However, in December of last year, just six months after McKinney moved into Bookout’s home, they announced they were expecting daughter Jayde Carter to arrive sometime in June.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bookout admitted to stopping her birth control regimen prior to conceiving Jayde Carter. During the two-part Teen Mom OG: Reunion Special , via Peopple Magazine , Bookout explained her and McKinney’s decision to have a child .
“I stopped taking my birth control because I felt like this was something [Taylor and I] both really wanted together, and we didn’t really want to prevent it any more than it was already being prevented naturally.”
Although Bookout and McKinney aren’t yet married, the Teen Mom OG couple recently purchased a home , where they currently live with Bentley and Jayde Carter.
“Our house is exactly what we were looking for. Luckily, we really didn’t have to compromise too much on our wants and needs. What we got was really what we were looking for. My hopes for our future in the house is just that we don’t grow out of it too fast, we continue to like it, or love it, as much as we do now.”
No word yet on when Jayde Carter’s official photos will be released, but when they do, fans can rest assured they will be shared on Bookout’s social media accounts.
