Katie Hamilton was supposed to be featured as a full-time housewife on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10. However, after her husband, Josh, allegedly suffered a relapse and filed for divorce, she quit filming.
While there have been plenty of reports regarding Katie Hamilton’s role on the show, she’s stayed silent for months about filming. Then, earlier today, following Monday night’s new episode of the show, Katie Hamilton finally broke her silence, seemingly touching on her split from Josh, and thanking fans for their online support.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Katie Hamilton’s husband, Josh, reportedly blindsided her with a divorce in February, although the news of his filing was not made public until several weeks later. According to court documents obtained by the Dallas Morning News , Josh, who wed Katie in 2004, included several petitions in his request for the dissolution of his marriage, including those listed below.
“Prohibit her from using the Maserati and 1972 Chevrolet Blazer in his possession; prohibit her from ‘hiding’ the children from him; prohibit her from making disparaging remarks against him or his family; prohibit someone who has an intimate relationship with her from staying in the same home as the children overnight.”
Because of Josh’s petition to ban Katie Hamilton from having other men in their home, rumors began swirling, claiming she may have cheated. However, the reality star quickly shot down those rumors in an interview with TMZ .
One month after filing for divorce, as Yahoo! Sports reported, it was revealed that Josh had allegedly used cocaine after relapsing earlier in the year.
“Hamilton has told people his latest spiral began around Super Bowl weekend after a fight with his wife. Because he cannot carry cash or credit cards, Hamilton wrote himself a check to cash. He wound up at a strip club and used cocaine.”
In the last few weeks since her husband’s divorce filing, Katie Hamilton has remained focused on her children, and often shares photos of them online. As for how much of her fans will be seeing on the show, that has yet to be revealed.
