Duchess Kate turned into a monster for a playdate with Prince George, chasing the toddler through one of London’s most popular parks on a rainy day.

The new mom took her oldest son to London’s Holland Park on Sunday, a rain-soaked visit that went largely unnoticed in the otherwise empty park. An onlooker who spotted Duchess Kate and Prince George on the playdate told Hello! Magazine that mom was waving her arms around and pretending to be a monster as she chased the almost two-year-old boy.

“It reminded me of the film Monsters Inc ,” said the witness, who added that George was smiling and laughing while mom chased him around.

“They were running around on the rides, the swings, roundabouts and slides,” added the onlooker. “They were on their own. Just the two of them.”

Kate Middleton wasn’t exactly alone, as she had two royal bodyguards watching over the mom and son.

While the visit to the London Park was a private playdate for mom and son, Duchess Kate could be re-entering the public eye very soon. The Huffington Post reported that Duchess Kate is expected to make her first public appearance since giving birth, showing up on June 13 for Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday parade. Sources say the Queen actually insisted to Kate that she make an appearance.

After a difficult pregnancy for Duchess Kate there were rumors that she would take a longer maternity leave, but if she’s back for the parade it would give her 42 days of leave, just three more than when she gave birth to Prince George in 2013.

There are also rumors that Kate Middleton could be already under pressure to have another baby. While sources close to Duchess Kate say she is decidedly done having babies, there are some family members pressuring her the opposite direction.

The Hollywood Gossip noted that the pressure is actually coming from Carole Middleton, Duchess Kate’s mom.

“That’s right, Kate’s mom – not any member of Prince William’s royal family – is the one urging the Duchess of Cambridge to keep crankin’ ’em out.

“Her first two pregnancies captivated the world, stimulated the British economy hard and generally made Kate and all things close to her look swell.

“Carole, meanwhile, is seen by many observers as the quiet orchestrator behind the scenes of Kate’s subtle but firm break from royal family tradition.”

While it’s not been confirmed by any credible sources that Kate Middleton is planning a third child, it’s clear that Duchess Kate is enjoying her time with her two children and playdates in the park.
