Chrissy Teigen suffered a major wardrobe malfunction at last night’s CFDA fashion awards.
The model, and wife of singer John Legend, wore a tight-fitting Solance London gown with a center slit, which she said took it upon itself to “rip 5 inches higher.”
Luckily, Teigen was able to maintain a sense of humor during the ordeal, and later took to her Instagram account to share a photograph of the malfunction.
“Wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber,” Teigen captured the photo of her trying to cover the slit with her clutch. “Let’s just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher. Thank you @stuartweitzman for letting me be your date and for always making my feet happy and legs sexy!!! #CFDAawards.”
She later amended the caption by addressing the possible nipple cleavage being shown in the pic.
“Edit: do you guys know what a shadow is? Those are not nipples. I know what my nipples look like. You don’t. Well maybe you do. But those aren’t them,” she wrote.
Last month, Teigen spoke with People Magazine about her desire to have children.
“Soon!” Teigen responded when she was asked about her and Legend’s plans to start a family. “Not super soon, but definitely,” she said. “We love kids. I picture us with three or four.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported , Teigen said she is simply happy living life with her “perfect” husband, for now.
“It’s sort of effortless – for now at least,” she said. “People must think I’m lying when I talk about how good my husband is, but by all definitions he really is perfect.”
Right now, Chrissy says, the couple has enough to worry about with their busy schedules and their house full of dogs.
“John and I go hard in everything we do,” she explained. “And we like a bit of chaos,” she added with a laugh.
