Fans can watch the Mexico vs. Guatemala soccer match live online as the teams meet in a friendly competition before the real action starts at next month’s Copa America.

The action for the international friendly will start Saturday at 6 p.m. ET from Chiapas.

Fans who watch the Mexico vs. Guatemala soccer match live online will see two teams looking to turn around their fortunes and snatch some momentum. Mexico has a loss to the United States in April, while Guatemala is in the midst of a four-game losing streak.

For Mexico, the match will have what is being called a “B squad” as coach Miguel Herrera has chosen to put his focus on the Gold Cup this summer.

The International Business Times noted who would and wouldn’t be playing in the match.

“European stars Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, Carlos Vela, Hector Herrera, Andres Guardado and Hector Moreno will all go to the Gold Cup, leaving a more inexperienced squad to go south to the Copa America. Still, Herrera has dismissed the idea the players he does have aren’t capable of making an impact in Chile.”

But Herrera didn’t agree with assertions that his squad against Guatemala — or the Copa America, starting next month — was less than stellar.

“I’ve never talked about an A selection or a B selection,” he said, via Medio Tiempo . “This team is put together to reach the final.”

“We’ll give a few teams a scare and, while we’ll face tough opponents, we’ll be a different team than we were in the last edition.”

Mexico striker Raul Jimenez said he is still confident in the team’s chances.

“We are encouraged that Miguel has such confidence, we have to think about that, that we transcend to a great tournament, to be champions you have to beat anyone, we can do it, we are a large group,” the Atletico Madrid striker said. “A good team was put together in all lines, we have experience and youth.

“We come with that desire to achieve something important. We will not settle for just improving on what was done in Argentina [2011], we hope to make history.”

Mexico won’t be the only team missing some key players. Guatemala will be without Seattle Sounders forward Marcos Papp, but will have the services of 35-year-old Carlos Ruiz, who with 57 goals in 112 appearances is the all-time leading scorer for Guatemala.
