Taylor Swift’s concert wristbands saved three teens in a recent car crash.

Elizabeth Dazzio was driving home from Taylor Swift’s concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her sister Caroline and another friend. Not realizing just how tired she was, Elizabeth accidentally dozed off at the wheel effectively crashing the car. Elizabeth was knocked unconscious and the two other girls were trapped in the smashed-up vehicle. Apparently, two of their three cell phones were dead and the third couldn’t be located. No other vehicles were stopping to help, but luckily, the wristbands from the concert were able to save their lives.

“You could smell the gas and smoke,” Caroline told WBRZ 2. “I was just thinking we need to get out of this car.”

The wristbands, which had been programmed and synced to the beat of the music, were used as emergency flares to catch the attention of the cars passing by. A woman eventually saw the lights and stopped to see what was going on.

“She could tell that there was someone in the car,” Caroline said.

The woman had a man with her, and with his help, she was able to pull the girls from the vehicle. They then called 911 for help.
