The Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel had an emotional breakdown while filming the show’s seventh season. During a chat with her co-star, Carole Radziwill, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Frankel began discussing her daughter , Bryn, which quickly led to a steady stream of tears.
On May 26, In Touch Weekly shared a sneak peek, which captured the Real Housewives star’s emotional moment in full.
“I’m not going (away) on my weekend with my daughter, which is every other weekend. I live for her. I never thought I’d have a kid, like I live for her, and she’s going through a hard time. I will never get this time – she’s getting older… I don’t care about anybody but my daughter, and I’m not the only one who has a daughter, but whatever my situation is, it’s pretty f—–g bad. And that’s my own thing and I can’t do it. I just don’t want to miss anything with her.”
Judging by the report, Frankel was asked to go on a girls trip by some of the women in the Real Housewives cast, but felt she shouldn’t go, as it would cut into her time with Bryn. For the last year and a half, Frankel has been involved in a messy divorce battle from estranged husband Jason Hoppy, and while the two have allegedly settled their custody battle, Frankel continues to fight for her Skinnygirl earnings, which Hoppy reportedly feels he’s owed a portion of.
The dramatic Real Housewives moment between Frankel and Radziwill took place in a furniture store, where Frankel and Radziwill were just getting to know one another. Although they crossed paths before, Frankel’s meltdown certainly wasn’t anything Radziwill was expecting — or prepared for.
“I was panicking because I’m not very good in an emotional situation. I mean, I’m very nurturing…kind of.”
Hours prior to In Touch Weekly ‘s report, Radar Online published the first Real Housewives sneak peek , featuring Frankel’s teary-eyed moment.
Frankel returned to The Real Housewives of New York City for season 7, after taking three years off to focus on her spinoff series, Bethenny Ever After , and her talk show, Bethenny . Also during her Real Housewives hiatus, Frankel expanded her line of Skinnygirl products beyond alcoholic beverages, and now offers a slew of products, including meal bars, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks.
