WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown are the WWE’s top two programs. The biggest and brightest stars are on each show, which is why they succeed. John Cena, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and many more help make WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown great. However, a new brand is on the verge of reigning supreme inside the WWE.

WWE NXT is arguably the greatest wrestling product on the planet. There’s a distinct difference between NXT and RAW, though. NXT is a wrestling brand, while RAW is in the sports entertainment business. While they are under the same roof, they are different. That’s one reason why NXT is so successful.

The morale at WWE NXT is said to be “beyond high” at this point. After their live events in Albany and Philadelphia, the wrestling product is growing in popularity. It’s not only popular within NXT, but rather the entire WWE. According to Wrestling News Source, Vince McMahon and a top-WWE superstar are beyond impressed with WWE NXT.

“He noted that John Cena is a big supporter of the NXT brand and Vince McMahon was ‘blown away’ when he recently visited.

Hunter said WWE executives and McMahon are seeing the success of NXT in the WWE Network numbers but the real tipping point was the San Jose event which took a lot of convincing, especially during WrestleMania weekend.”

One quote from Vince McMahon that the report mentions is that when he saw WWE NXT a few weeks ago, he said, “Holy s***, this is special.” McMahon is absolutely correct when he says that WWE NXT is very special. It’s like nothing the WWE has seen before. Instead of having a balance of wrestling and entertainment, WWE NXT focuses on the wrestling, with bits and pieces of entertainment thrown in there.

Now, the big story about WWE NXT is the return of NXT Takeover. Tonight is NXT Takeover: Unstoppable . Finn Balor and Tyler Breeze will fight for the No. 1-contenders spot for the NXT Heavyweight championship. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will go one-on-one for the NXT Women’s title. In the main event, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will fight for the NXT Heavyweight title.

Everybody is expecting a great show tonight, as well they should. There hasn’t been a bad WWE NXT special yet. Since the morale is high and the WWE NXT wrestlers want to shock the audience, that’s exactly what they will do. There’s also a rumor of a major debut tonight too, so there’s plenty of action that has the potential to steal the show.
