Kate Gosselin’s boyfriend Jeff Prescott may be making headlines for his relationship with the reality TV star/mother of eight children, but there is no drama in his personal life, especially between he and his ex-wife, Michelle Jones. In fact, Michelle says she totally approves of her ex-husband’s new relationship with Kate, and that she wants the father of her children to be happy, Radar Online reports.
“He’s a very successful man and a great dad and we’re proud of everything he does. He’s worked very hard. He deserves happiness.”
Kate Gosselin’s boyfriend is a millionaire businessman who apparently isn’t scared of dating a reality star or the fact that Kate has eight children. Unfortunately for Gosselin, she doesn’t have the same relationship that Jeff Prescott does with his ex-spouse. Kate’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, has often slammed her in the media, and the two are allegedly currently battling over custody of their children.
In Touch Magazine claims that Jon even went as far as to take the couple’s daughter Hannah away from Kate after the 11-year-old allegedly complained of her mother being cruel. However, Kate didn’t take the move lightly and reportedly freaked out on Jon after the incident.
“Kate showed up to Jon’s house and stood in the street screaming for Hannah to come home, but Hannah wouldn’t leave.”
Jon Gosselin has threatened to take custody from Kate in the past, and this time he is also threatening to pull the plug on Kate Plus 8 if he something doesn’t change.
“Jon will be filing a petition to modify custody, and if he gets it, he’ll be contacting TLC to put a stop to filming. Hannah doesn’t want to film but Kate is making her, and she’s not the only child who has no interest in being on the show.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kate and Jeff have grown close . It seems that Kate Gosselin’s boyfriend could offer up some advice to his girlfriend about co-parenting and creating a civil relationship with the father of her children. The two have to be in each other’s lives for many years to come as they share eight children together. There will be events like graduations, weddings, and other family events that the kids would probably like to have both their parents attend.
It’s a tough situation, but perhaps the family could go to counseling to work through some of their issues. It might also be good for the parents to have one on one time and conversations with each of their children.
