Former Teen Mom 2 couple Corey Simms and Leah Messer are reportedly at odds over Miranda Patterson’s pregnancy. While Simms and Patterson are said to be “excited” about their baby news, a Radar Online report on May 14 claims the pregnancy has come as heartbreak for Messer .
When the MTV series first began, cameras followed the former Teen Mom 2 couple as they welcomed twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, in December of 2009, and continued to document their relationship beyond their October 2010 wedding.
While the former Teen Mom 2 couple was happy in their marriage at first, Simms was later dealt some devastating news from Messer: She had cheated on him just hours before their wedding with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd. Although the former Teen Mom 2 couple tried to work through things at first, it was later determined their marriage was unsalvageable, and they divorced.
As for the other former Teen Mom 2 couple, Messer and husband Jeremy Calvert, they split for good this past March, months after he told his Twitter fans she had cheated on him with Kidd, as well. In now-deleted tweets, Calvert called Messer a “s–t” and claimed he was planning for divorce.
Despite the former Teen Mom 2 couple’s clear marital issues, it was Messer who targeted Simms in an elaborate Facebook post at the end of last year. As her marriage crumbled, as reported by the Inquisitr , the mother of three took to social media, proclaiming Simms and Patterson were faking their “perfect” marriage .
“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say.
“Marriage is far from perfect but my husband and I are very much in love with each other and still remain married and that doesn’t plan to change.”
In response to Messer’s post, Patterson confirmed the page Messer was referring to did not belong to either her or Simms, nor were they associated with it in any way.
Radar Online reported Simms and Patterson’s child is due this winter.
