Rihanna added another tattoo to her growing collection of body art last weekend. The “Birthday Cake” singer stopped by her favorite tattoo artist in New York City, Bang Bang, to get a small cross inked on her collarbone.
Bang Bang, who also gave Rihanna her “shhh” tattoo on her finger (but not “Thug Life” tattoo on her knuckles), said:
“We cut the color with water, so it’ll end up being light — like the “rebelle” tattoo on her neck… She loved it… She always flips out [when it’s done] and jumps up and down like a 16-year-old girl getting her first car.”
US Weekly reports that Bang Bang is responsible for about a dozen of Rihanna’s tattoos. He’s also put ink on Russell Brand, Katy Perry, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgents, and plans to open the largest tattoo shop in New York City later this year.
Rihanna, her is known for her musical career, will step onto the big screen this Summer for her movie debut in “Battleship.” Yes, the movie is based off of the classic board game but according to the trailer, the name is about the only thing the two have in common.
