After completing rehab last month, sources indicate that Nick Gordon wants desperately to see Bobbi Kristina Brown. Yet, Bobby Brown, who has the final say on who can see his daughter, still refuses to allow Gordon to visit.
People reports that Gordon continues the battle with Bobby Brown that started January 31, after Bobbi Kristina was found comatose in her bathtub. According to an undisclosed source, Gordon, who lives with his mother in Orlando, Florida, is clean and sober, yet still can’t see his girlfriend.
“Rehab was a success for Nick. He did very well and cleaned himself up. Now, he just really wants to see Bobbi Kristina. It’s hard for him not to be able to see Krissy. He wants to see for himself how she is doing. He only has third-hand information and doesn’t know any more than what the media has been reporting.”
If Gordon is clean and sober and on the right path, why is Bobby Brown still refusing to allow him to see Bobbi Kristina?
According to Christopher Brown, Bobby Brown’s attorney, Gordon refuses to cooperate and continues to withhold information on what occurred the day Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious. Bobby Brown feels that Gordon is hiding key information that could help the investigation of his daughter’s incident.
Earlier this year, Christopher Brown released a statement regarding Gordon’s request to visit. Evidently, Gordon still refuses to comply with Bobby Brown’s request.
“Mr. Gordon has every right to remain silent and not share his version of the events with Bobby Brown. We are only concerned with individuals that can help Bobbi Kristina and bring resolution to this investigation. Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina.”
Until Gordon, who is still under investigation by the Roswell Police Department for the incident, gives a full written statement explaining what happened on January 31, he will not be visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown. Many supporters of Bobbi Kristina wonder why Gordon still fails to cooperate, but he hasn’t commented on the issue.
Instead, Gordon’s lawyers, Joe Habachy and Randall Kessler, indicated that Gordon already gave a statement to law enforcement, and that he doesn’t have to comply with Bobby Brown since “Brown isn’t law enforcement.”
Per Christopher Brown, Gordon was given many opportunities to comply with the requests of Bobby Brown, which would have allowed him to see Bobbi Kristina. To this day, however, Gordon still hasn’t given a written statement.
“To address the continued and never ending media requests for comment about Mr. Gordon’s requests to visit Bobbi Kristina, let me be very clear, Mr. Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit.”
Regardless, it’s ultimately up to Bobby Brown to choose who can see his daughter. Since Gordon never married Bobbi Kristina Brown, he has no rights to visit if her immediate family refuse him. As Gordon continues to decline the requests for a written statement, speculations continue regarding his involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s condition.
