Beverly Hills Housewife Kim Richards’ Daughters Discuss Her ‘RHOBH’ Co-Star & Friend Brandi Glanville

Beverly Hills reality star Kim Richards appeared on Dr. Phil earlier this week, and during the show, her daughters, Kimberly Davis and Brooke Brinson, discussed her friendship with Brandi Glanville.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Beverly Hills star’s son, Chad, felt his mother’s “best friend” was “ toxic ,” but what do her daughters think? According to an April 30 report by AllAboutTRH , they aren’t too impressed either . However, their comments about Glanville were far less harsh. In fact, one of Richards’ daughters said Glanville was a good friend, but noted that she may not be the best person to be around when it comes to her recovery.

“She’s a good friend for you, but like, you gotta be hanging around people that are supporting your sobriety.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star then defended Glanville, claiming that while she may look bad on the show, because of the amount she sometimes drinks, she isn’t nearly as bad as she’s made out to be.

“She’s always been a really good friend to me and she’s never drank around me unless we’re at work. And all the girls are drinking there.”

While Glanville’s reputation on the show is less than stellar, Richards’ daughters acknowledged that she was there for their mother at times others were not. During the majority of season five of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Richards and Glanville were on the outs with nearly everyone, so having Glanville by her side was a good thing, at least at times.

“She’s kind of been the one whose kind of had my Mom’s back.”

“I don’t know Brandi that well. I can see where people think it makes my Mom look bad on the show, but I’ve never really spent time with her.”

During a recent appearance on For Crying Out Loud , Glanville discussed her Beverly Hills co-star’s recent relapse, claiming that while she did feel Richards needed help, she didn’t want to overstep her boundaries and push Richards further away from those who care.

“My thing is, you can’t help somebody that doesn’t want help. And if they say, ‘I’m fine,’ then in their head, they’re fine. And there’s nothing you can do until they say ‘I want to get help. I think I have a problem.’ It’s not anyone’s job to point it out because they’re in denial and they, you know, they just don’t believe it themselves yet.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six has yet to be officially announced.
