The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice may not have understood what she was doing when she decided to sign some papers her husband placed in front of her a few years back. But now that Teresa is serving time for fraud, she may be starting to understand the consequences of her actions.

When Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, were sentenced to several years behind bars, many people were concerned for the children. Since Teresa was locked up, the world hasn’t really seen the children. It sounds like Joe could be protecting them from the press. In fact, Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, has revealed that the children do go to school with Joe driving them every morning. But that doesn’t mean this entire situation isn’t hard for the kids.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s children may be dealing with her jail time differently than her husband. Based on new eyewitness accounts, Audriana is having a hard time with her mother behind bars. The 5-year-old child isn’t happy when she has to leave Danbury behind without her mother.

“The youngest had some issues when it was time to go at the first visit,” an inmate revealed about the Giudices’ recent visit to see Teresa at the Danbury Federal Corrections Institute, adding, “She was crying. Just like a typical kid who didn’t want to leave her mother. If you have kids, you know how they are when their mother leaves.”

Teresa Giudice’s older children, including Gia, Gabriella, and Milania, are doing quite well considering the situation. But Audriana is having a hard time adjusting to the fact that her mother isn’t coming home with them after visits.

Melissa has also revealed that things are going well with Teresa behind bars. While Giudice is keeping the home running in New Jersey, Teresa is trying to make the days go by with exercise and work. According to the Inquisitr , Giudice has been doing yoga and teaching other inmates how to work out.

Giudice is scheduled to be released in March of next year, which would mark her 15-month prison sentence coming to an end. But there have already been discussions about a possible early release. Since she has only served a few months, it is too early to tell what will happen.
